장벽의 건설로 명백해진 독일의 분단으로 많은 가족들이 헤어졌고 셀 수 없이 많은 사람들이 SED(사회주의 통일당)의 체제에서 고통 당했다.사람들은 잡히고 고문당하고 감시 당하고 갈취 당하고 압제에 시달려야만 했다.많은 사람들이 알 수 없는 미래를 향해 탈출을 시도했지만 탈출 기간 동안 그들을 기다린 건 죽음뿐이었다.분열되고 더 이상 맞지 않는 사람의 머리가 그려진 이 포스터는 1961년 장벽이 생긴 이후 많은 독일인들의 상황을 조명했다.작가들은 끝없는 고통과 부당함에 시달려 파괴되거나 꼬인 사람들에 대해 조심스럽게 질문한다.

Stefan Berg, born in 1971 in Bielefeld, Communication Design at the University of Applied Science in Potsdam.

The division of Germany, which became manifest in the construction of the Wall, tear many families definitely apart, uncountable people had to suffer from the injustice regime of the SED (social union party), were tracked, tortured, spied, extorted, put under pressure, many escaped into an unknown future, too many people died during their escape.
This poster of a disrupted and not anymore fitting head of a man illustrates the situation of many Germans after the building of the Wall in 1961. Disrupted, uncertain, torn, unknown what to do. Stefan Berg posed the question about the people, that were destroyed or twisted, that could inwardly not find together, because they had to suffer from endless affliction and injustice.
